About David...
A little about us...
Brimming with enthusiasm we formed Papercreative back in 2006,
creating a Retail Design and Store Planning consultancy under one
roof. Our experience, gained over many years in corporate and agency
environments, enables us to understand the client/agency
relationship from both sides of the fence. Firmly established with an
ever increasing client list, we like to think we’ve proven our worth too
- delivering projects that have improved profit, category performance
and brand perception. It’s something we’re very proud of.
Great ideas are at the heart of what we do, often found by ignoring
constraints and perceived wisdom as we go.
What makes us a little different is that our ideas are carefully honed
into sensible and practical, real world proposals that we’re happy to
stand by in what is an increasingly competitive and cost driven
environment.
We like to keep our business lean where we can - it means we
deliver more for less. In addition to our core team, we have a
network of trusted and talented specialists on tap for when we
need them, which gives us ultimate flexibility to meet your needs.
Simple, but it works.
With an eye for detail and a conscience that
won’t let go until things are just right, Andrew
Perks handles the creative side of things here at
Papercreative.
Drawing upon his experience in brand design
and communication gained in both corporate
and agency worlds, Andrew’s passion is the
transformation of retail spaces into carefully
branded environments.
Away from the office, he’ll usually be found tinkering
with classic cars or walking the countryside with his two
German Shepherd Dogs; Oscar and Simba.
Andrew is a co-founder of Papercreative.
An early adopter and advocate of space-planning
software in the UK, David Catlin headed up a
department of Space Planners and
Merchandisers for a major own brand retailer
before co-founding Papercreative.
With a background rooted in store design, he
gained experience in all aspects of store format
and product merchandising in the fast-paced DIY
sector.
David’s pragmatic approach to a retail challenge always
delivers the perfect balance of practical space and
creative merchandising.
When time and workload allows, David’s favourite
haunts are Rock gigs around London. Alternatively he
might be found beneath his headphones walking his
dogs, Digs and Dylan. Music is a bit of an obsession - the
more unusual the sounds, the better.
